Gondal smashed four sixes and nine fours while opening the batting. He is going to be in the limelight in this match to see if he can repeat the heroics. Saif ur Rehman and Bilal Masud also played very well in the match.
Saif ur Rehman is HGCC’s best batsman. He is consistent and reliable but does not always get the support. The previous performance was so much better than the batting we have seen from HGCC that we don’t want to expect a repeat of it in this match.
SKK Stadin has struggled with its bowling, though, so it is a good opportunity for HGCC to try and ratchet up the pressure.
Faisal Shahzad and Pankaj Saharan were the pick of the bowlers in the previous match. As a bowling side, HGCC is not the best. It struggled to keep the runs down during the group stages. SKK’s batsmen have a very good record against them and that will be on the minds of the bowlers when they take the field.

Nathan Collins and company are going to be very disappointed with their performance in the previous match. Rain made their target a bit tougher than what was expected, however, SKK’s batting failed it during a most crucial time.
For a team that has Nathan Collins, Peter Gallagher, Jake Goodwin, Jordan O’Brien, and Atif Rasheed in the side, a complete batting failure is not acceptable.
SKK will be looking to strike back hard in this match. We hope to see them play fearlessly and with perhaps a bit more imagination around their batting order. Someone like Jordan O’Brien could be promoted up the order so that he can take advantage of his power hitting.
We are pretty confident that the SKK batsmen will play much better in this match.
The challenge for them is going to be backing up their batting with the bowling. Apart from Atif Rasheed, the other bowlers have struggled for the entire duration.
