St Lucia Zouks vs Guyana Amazon Warriors 24th Match Prediction And Betting Tips

With five wins out of seven matches so far, it is safe to say that the St. Lucia Zouks have been the team of the CPL this season. They came in with a lot of their best players available and one of the weakest squads on paper. A number of their players have stepped up and ensured that they are going to be a part of the semi-finals no matter what happens from here on in.

The previous match that the Zouks played is a prime example of their never say die spirit. Batting first, the Zouks were bowled out for 92 against the defending champions. With the Tridents at 32 for no loss, no one would have given the Zouks a chance but they kept on plugging away and instigated one of the great collapses in CPL history.

The Barbados Tridents crumbled to 89 all-out as Kesrick Williams, Javelle Glenn, Roston Chase, and Mohammad Nabi all combined to bow brilliantly. The best part? Javelle Glenn has never bowled before in a first-class T20 match in his life!

We expect the Zouks to continue to bring their spin heavy side to this contest and try to get the batter of a strong Warriors outfit.

The batting is a concern. Rakheem Cornwall has been unable to reprise the firm he shown in CPL 2019 and a bit too seems to be dependent on Mohammad Nabi. If the pitch is good for batting, this weakness might cost them the match.
GUYANA AMAZON WARRIORS
This is going to be the second match that the Guyana Amazon Warriors play in two days. The Warriors have three wins from seven matches and would have played one more by the time this one comes around. Unlike the St. Lucia Zouks, the Guyana Amazon Warriors still have some work to do before they lock in their place in the CPL 2020 semi-finals.

These next few matches are going to be crucial and we are sure they are happy to see some of their senior players like Nicholas Pooran hit form.

A sensation inning by Pooran where he scored 10 not out from just 45 deliveries was the reason why they won their match against the Patriots with ease. Pooran and Taylor form a nice partnership to rescue the Warriors who were 25 for three chasing 151 at one point.

This season has been more difficult than what the Guyana Amazon Warriors have been used to. Brandon King has not been in the runs and the Shimron Hetmyer seems to be cooling off a bit as well. The Warriors need their batting to start coming into its own now that the business end of the CPL is approaching.

Among the bowling, Imran Tahir has not been at his best this season either. He seems rusty and os offering up way too many freebies for a bowler of his caliber. Chris Green is back with a remodeled action that is affecting his bowling speed and the fast bowling department is pretty bare as well.

The Guyana Amazon Warriors are a much more beatable team this season especially now that they do not have home advantage anymore.
